I think he’s a bit lunatic, indeed. He expected his western allies to support him on this kind of summer war in the Caucasian region. Yes! Because he never thought that he could defeat the Russian army alone. But where is his allies’ support? Military reinforcement, he meant. He expected that from the west, not their efforts to have an agreement on a ceasefire on both sides.
